Houston, Texas teacher looking for a job...................?

I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have passed all of my certification tests (Generalist EC- Sixth Grade) and am in the process of looking for a job. I was wondering if any one has any advice for me about where I can look. So far I have applied to the local districts and also viewed jobs on craigslist, careerbuilder and monster.com. Any assistance will surly be appreciated, thank you.
