Medical school Cutoffs?

If you meet the GPA and MCAT cutoffs for medical school, do you automatically move on and get an interview? I meet the gpa cuttoff and hope to do really well on the MCAT ... but i am really relying on my EC and interview to get me in. I want to know if interviews are automatic if you meet the school's minimum requirements?
