Chances for Cal Poly SLO?

You have an alright chance, not a slam dunk, but I would try to get a higher SAT score or take the ACT to see if you do better on that one to have a better chance at getting in. If you go on collegeboard.com you can put in all of your info (grades, test scores, etc.) and it will tell you how likely you are to get in. Also your chances depend on what major you apply as, some are easier than others. I got in with a 4.2 GPA and an 1880 SAT score and I applied as an education major. Also if you are not able to get accepted as a freshman you can always go to another CSU for the first two years and then as a junior have a lot better chance at transferring. And if you are going to be a junior or a senior next year, I would encourage you to really work hard to get your grades up and if you can raise that GPA higher the school will recognize your hard work.
